In 2016 the Edith M Ellis 1985 Charitable Trust awarded a grant of £1,000 towards the cost of an outdoor play area on the site of the new Bridge Community Church in Leeds.

The Children’s Centre incorporating the play area was opened to the community in June 2016 and has already attracted many families to their daily ‘Splashtime’ parent/carer toddler group and the group is now fully booked.
